Creative Motivation

Creative motivation. That is my theme for today's blog.  Sometimes it's readily available, other times it take a lot of effort. My friends and family always ask how can i paint stone after stone and not burn out.  Well, the answer is, i give myself time.  Sure, I can crank out 3 or 4 stones a day, but they wouldn't have the same care and love put in to them as they do now.  Right now, I limit my orders so that i only do 3 or 4 a week.  I limit them so in case I have a creative motivational block, I can take a couple hours or a day or 2 to get back on track.  For me, the motivation usually returns after i spend some time with my own animals or if i spend some time with shelter animals.  A little time spent engaging with them, helps remind me why i do this. So, you may ask... why do i do this? The answer is simple.  To bring A smile to people's faces and perhaps a tear or two when they can look into their furbaby's eyes again and remember how special they were.  That is my ultimate goal! Today is one of my no motivational days, even though I've got a lot to do.  I've already played with my pups so perhaps I'll just go soak in the tub until it returns...
