Saturday Farmer's Market: part 2 the climax

Ok, so maybe the title of this blog is a little exaggerated, lol. After all, it was just a farmer's market, not the world fair, but that didn't make it any less exciting for me. It was the first fair of the 2020 year for me and considering the world has changed so much in 3 months, who knows how many more I can attend. It really was a lovely time this last Saturday. I was able to have my 13 year old son to hang out with and help me. I think he just might turn into a great salesman, just like his dad. The turn out was pretty good considering there was a threat of a storm, but we had no rain and only had to pack it up when the winds got too strong and my canopy flew up in the air about 10 feet. It was quite a sight! As this was my first event at General Duffy's Waterhole in Redmond, I wasn't sure what to expect or how my booth would be received. I shouldn't have worried because everything went smoothly and I had quite a bit of traffic. Normally I would generate orders from this event later in the year around the holidays, but I've already been contacted by a couple fair-goers to have portraits done. So, to wrap this up, I saw old friends, met new friends, enjoyed being outdoors and made a couple sales. I don't think I could have had a better day! I update my fair schedule frequently, so be sure to go under the EXTRAS tab and check out where we'll be next. Hint* Redmond's Sunday Pet Lovers Event at General Duffy's on June 7th from 11am - 4pm.
